The Julius Nyerere Fellowship

The Julius Nyerere Fellowship is for graduate students who are attending universities in the greater metropolitan area. The Fellow is required to work a minimum of 20 hours per week at The Africa Society’s Headquarters in Washington D.C. Read more


 

The Africa Society Internship Program

 Responsibilities of the Intern include:

  • Providing administrative, program and research support
  • Reorganizing a national database that will further inform, strengthen, energize and mobilize a broad and diverse base of support for Africa in the United States.
Qualifications:
  • A college student enrolled in an International Relations program or related field, with specific interest in Africa
  • Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office
